FELICIA BERGSTRÖM
ANIMATOR AND DIRECTOR
I'm a Swedish artist, animator and director based in Berlin, Germany. I animate using analogue techniques such as stop motion, puppets, clay, paper cut-out, sand and paint to create a wide variety of projects. I make animated short films as well as large-scale video installations and live performances, combining analogue animation with digital compositing, video projection and video mapping. I really enjoy working with musicians and performers, accompanying them live on stage. In my work I like to explore the possibilities of non-linear storytelling, the space in which a film is shown, the relationship between the projected image and the physical body of the audience. As well as creating my own projects, it is always a pleasure for me to work with others in the realisation of their ideas and visions.
